Look like a Gucci model at Target Prices!

It seems like everywhere I look designers and high-fashion magazines are presenting looks of glamorous color-blocking, metallics and cat-eye shades. These are all very daring, especially for plus-size frames and I thought I'd put together an outfit of affordable separates for the full figured fashionistas out there who are not ready to commit to one wild, color-block piece or sky-high price tags.

I was really lusting after the Gucci look that was shown last spring and may be responsible for all the brights and color combos his season. I find rich teals and blues to be more wearable than spring's shades of orange. Check out the FoxyRoxy take on the runway looks...on the cheap!!

Put these all together with gold accessories, big gold hoop earrings and a ponytail and you are ready for  the hottest new lounge, VIP style. Oversized cat-eye shades shown below are a good take on the trend for larger or round faces. Also, for added boldness, color block your whole body with coral suede chunky platforms, instead of the matching Cerulean/Cobalt/Gold peep toes.

Let it Ride! Vegas-style glitz

For those of you needed to find something with Casino-style glam, without looking like you can only afford the penny slots? The check out Qristyl Frazier Designs.  When I used to live on the West Coast I used to love the fact that you can get away with wearing pretty much anything in Vegas. That's a lot of the fun! Problem always was that the sequin or animal print dresses over a size 12 were usually cheaply made, clingy spandex or so skimpy that might look more like an exotic dancer than a high roller.

Sweet Escape, $280
NOT THESE DRESSES! They well-made, unique and the trendy-yet-classy designs balance all that glitz perfectly! SO snag one next time you plan to impress the hottest bottle service club on the Strip!
Embolden, $210

Also check out some of the 70's style maxi dresses (or the jumpsuits if you are tall)...great to pair with some designer shades by the pool!
Shaken not Stirred, $220

We LOVE Betsey Johnson!

Ohhhh Betsey Johnson. How I have loved her stores since I was in high school. What's not to love? Cheetah prints! Sparkles! Cool colors! Skulls! Rocker-meets-girly looks!
Until January 9th, girls in NYC can have fun in Betsey Johnson's pop-up gift shop at The Plaza Hotel retail center, complete with all the coolest accessories and bags just in time for the holidays!

I wish I could get some of this stuff for myself but 'tis the season to GIVE, but if I don't get anything cool this Christmas I won't feel too bad treating myself to a little something special! Look at how hot these pieces are...and affordable too!! (well except for my ULTIMATE lust item...the diamond lightning bolt earrings...just too decadent to justify buying for myself but...I am drooling over them!)

The sexiest way to stay in "shape"

My newest obsession www.2cutelingerie.com !
This is phenomenal! Sexy shapewear to wear under all kinds of necklines.

Tis the season for eating seconds and drinking a lot so we will need all the shapewear help we can get to keep it all looking sleek under those New Year's dresses.

My absolute favorite has to be the one-shoulder bodysuit. I have never seen a shaper that smoothes, supports, has pretty lace AND can be worn under all the trendiest one-shoulder tops. I HATE strapless bras a girl with an DDD/F-cup so this may just solve my problems!
At over $150, these gorgeous pieces are pricey but hey if you would invest in a special occasion gown, why not special occasion lingerie, right? And these pieces can be worn under something casual, formal or just by itself with someone special!
