Needle in the Haystack: Where are the Wearable Spring Trends?

After combing through the Fashion Week pictures for Spring 2013 trends in Vogue and Glamour, Foxy Roxy is declaring that this may be the most unflattering roundup of styles to hit the runways in recent years. Case in point, THIS:

It is not even the worst pic I could find, but it gives you a snapshot of what trend-slaves will be shelling out top dollar for. The roundup of what couture houses are offering:
- Mismatched prints in the same outfit
- bright colors
- watery blues and mint greens
-sheer elements/satin
- black-and-white graphic prints/checkerboard seen at Louis Vuitton
-  90's florals (small print) AND 70's floral (graphic flower prints/funky color think Miu Miu)
-  and in some cases, looking like you dressed in the dark....like THIS Balenciaga sweatshirt/tutu disaster that I am really hoping is a joke. See Below:
Balenciaga, Runway London 2013

Most of these are trends that should never be attempted at ANY size, but for plus sizes most are fashion suicide!

In an attempt to weed out anything in this mix that could be palatable in a normal woman's daily life, I separated each trend concept in my mind and went searching for anything in plus sizes that both looked wearable AND had at least one of trends involved. Then chose structures that would flatter and overall looks that seem quality enough to be couture. Tough task! Take a look at what we found, in case you are dying to look on-trend EVERY season.
